Did you see the sprints at the Olympics this year? Julien Alfred was awesome in the women's 100 metres, but it's the men's 100 metres I keep thinking about. It was so close. I've never seen a line of sprinters like that, sweeping towards the finish. They reminded me of an audio equaliser, strangely, pulsing and flowing as one sprinter edged forwards and then another. And as it always does, it got me thinking about games. Which sprints in games do I remember? Are they literal Olympic sprints or something else? There are many different kinds of sprints, it turns out. The question is, which are the best?
